Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Produce Clerk/Kitchen Helper. We are a small family owned produce market located in Bristol, CT. This is a fulltime position. Duties will include:

Stocking the floor with produce/grocery

Rotating produce daily

Answer questions from customers with a friendly personality

Making sure produce is neat and presentable

Checking inventory

Helping cut up produce and prepping it in the kitchen when needed. (No cooking required)

Breaking down boxes

Removing garbage as needed and placing it in dumpster

Helping unload truck and put order away in walk in as needed

 

Must be able to lift over 50lbs. This is a high energy, fast-paced job. Must work well with others and have a friendly personality. Must be available for all hours M- F 8-6:30pm and Saturdays 7-3:30pm. Friday and Saturday hours are expected. Must have a go with the flow type of personality and be able to help around the market as needed. Must be 18 or older and have a valid driver's license or transportation to the market during hours scheduled.
