Mobile Veterinary vaccination clinic seeking dynamic veterinary assistant with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, high service-oriented team environment. Candidates must be organized and committed to fostering a client and patient relationship built on trust and knowledge of position. Duties: Client greeting, help filling forms, taking payments, animal restraints while DVM providing vaccines, etc. Job requires traveling with DVM in the company vehicle to five to six different locations in Tampa Bay area in one day and provide services to clients and their pets. Employee need to be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays as well as Friday once a month, alternating days. Company is working ONLY WEEKENDS and one Friday a month so far but more days will be involved soon.Company is setting tables outside for one hour in each location. Tent provided for rainy conditions. Usual working day starts 6:30-7 am and done at 6-6:30 pm. Time varies depending on driving distance. Pay starting at the meeting time and finishes at the returning time, so the company paying for the traveling times in company vehicle and lunch time as well. One year of experience of animal restraint is preferred but the owner will consider training employee with no experience for the position. Knowledge of common dog and cat vaccines/diseases and knowledge of preventative medications preferred. Great opportunity for growth Start pay is $10/hr with no experience, $11/hr with some experience and $12/hr with with vet tech experience. Yearly increase of $1/hr for the right employees will occur, until $13/hr is reached.Also, raise will be given after the first three months or as soon as new employee feels comfortable with the job duties.
