We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team You will assist in the daily care of Adult disabled individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with interacting and participating in desired daily community activities
  • Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties via written documentation
  • Collaborate and interact with individuals to determine the best way to support them in the community
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment while engaging in community activities
  • Work with peers and individuals in planning group activities and recreational activities in line with person centered service plans.
  • Safely transport individuals to scheduled activities

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in personal care or other related fields
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Must have at least 6 months experience working with Developmental and/or intellectually disabled individuals

Must have a valid drivers license with no more than two moving violations in the past year.
