Position Overview:

We are seeking a candidate with experience in generating and reviewing NEI 08-09 and NEI 13-10 assessments of cyber controls, or equivalent standards. The selected individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the ONS CDE I&C team, focusing on our cyber program and associated standards. While training and mentorship will be provided, prior experience in these areas is highly advantageous.

Opportunities for Growth:

Candidates interested in expanding their skill set will have the opportunity to qualify as a Responsible Design Engineer, with a focus on cyber-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and review assessments of cyber controls in line with NEI standards.
  • Act as the SME for the ONS CDE I&C team on cyber programs and standards.
  • Provide insights and support on complex cyber control challenges.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on unique SME skills.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of engineering concepts and procedures, with the capacity to handle increasingly complex tasks.
