Outside Sales Representative

The Roofing Sales Project Manager is responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and overseeing the execution of roofing projects from sales to completion. This individual will coordinate with clients, internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality work is completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both sales and project management, with a deep understanding of roofing systems and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Client Relationship Management:
- Generate Leads & Close Sales: Proactively prospect and generate new sales leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other methods. Convert leads into customers by presenting roofing solutions and closing contracts.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their roofing needs, provide expert advice, and recommend appropriate products and services. Present detailed proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and project execution, including addressing any issues or complaints that arise.
2. Project Management:
- Project Estimating & Bidding: Accurately estimate roofing project costs, including materials, labor, and additional expenses. Create and present bids or quotes to clients.
- Scope of Work: Develop a clear scope of work for each project, outlining tasks, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Schedule Management: Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to customer specifications.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate with roofing crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all materials and labor are in place for successful project execution.
- Quality Control: Oversee roofing installations to ensure they meet company quality standards, building codes, and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all roofing projects adhere to safety regulations and that proper safety measures are in place during the installation process.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
- Internal Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including roofing crews, administrative staff, and leadership, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Project Updates: Provide clients with regular project updates and communicate any changes to the project schedule or scope.
