The Launching Pad by Basic Beginnings is seeking an experienced and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities
- Must be able to plan and implement curriculum
- Design a daily and weekly schedule
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
- Must be able to attend monthly staff meeting
- Have a positive attitude
- Be a team player
- Required to maintain minimum workshop requirements
- Must be able to bend & lift up to 40 pounds
- Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- EEC Teacher certification required
- Early Childhood Education: 1-2 years (Preferred)
- License/Certification:Early Childhood Education (Required)
- Must possess classroom management skills
- Must possess effective behavior management skills
- Must communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff
- Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable of New Hampshire State licensing procedures
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
