Machinist

We are seeking a Machinist, who will operate CNC's and Manual Machines, multiple Ops as well as material prep, debur and some assembly.

We welcome individuals newly out of school / training, (Welding Skills is a HUGE plus)

- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders

- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings

- Perform precision machining to tight tolerances as needed

- Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and measurements

- Select appropriate tooling for each job

- Program machines using CAM software or manual programming techniques

- Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments

- Understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles

- Familiarity with Trak and Haas programming language is a plus

- Fabricate parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manual machinist - Proficient in operating various types of manual machining equipment

- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques

- Knowledge of CNC machining is a plus

- Proficient in reading blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings

- Ability to use basic math skills for calculations and measurements

- Experience with CAM programming software or manual programming techniques

- Knowledge of measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers

- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles
