We are hiring an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Rhode Island

The administrator directs the day-to-day functions of the skilled nursing facility. Details on the facility will be disclosed during the interview process.

A bachelor’s degree is required as well as an active, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license in the state of Rhode Island. Must have at least two (2) years experience in long-term care and an understanding of state and federal regulations.

Duties include:

  • Oversee the regulatory compliance of laws and regulations to ensure residents are receiving the highest quality of care and services and that the facility is in compliance with said laws and regulations.
  • Conduct rounds throughout the facility.
  • Oversee recruitment and retention needs of the facility as well as staffing hours.
  • Report directly to senior operations leadership.
  • Develop and implement marketing techniques to build census and improve brand image.
  • Contribute to a positive environment for residents and families.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
  • Ability to deal and manage with residents, staff, vendors, family members, etc.
  • Possess an understanding of Rhode Island and federal regulations and guidelines regarding long-term care.
  • Understanding of proper nursing practice and procedures.
