Position Summary:As the Rehabilitation Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the retention of long-term quality patients for the clinic through the execution of service delivery systems in turn, ensuring the patient’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Your role will be to ensure patients are correctly following the rehabilitation plan as prescribed. As the Rehabilitation Technician, you will be responsible for all activity in the rehabilitation room including but not limited to maintaining a safe and clean workspace, hands-on support, and providing an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a computerized range of motion assessment following the protocol
- Carry out ordered exercise programs based on doctor's written orders
- Administer decompression therapy following protocols (if applicable)
- Maintain all rehabilitation equipment by cleaning, organizing, and keeping it in pristine condition
- Ensure seamless and efficient patient flow in the rehabilitation department
- Chart patient’s progress per clinic protocol
- Encourage and inspire patients to follow through with treatment plan
- Assist patients as needed
- Collect success stories, testimonials, and feedback from patients
- Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to quickly and effectively connect with patients and staff
- Ability to alter communication based on how the patient will best understand exercises
- Entrepreneurially orientated, driven to succeed, and a commitment to achieving results and solving problems

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is constantly required to sit, talk, see, hear, and use hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; move about, climb steps, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds.
Qualifications
- Current Virginia Licenced Massage Therapist (LMT) Required
- Willingness to Learn Our System of Injury-specific medical massage and passive stretching
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to demonstrate and monitor physical therapy exercise
- Strong attention to detail
- First aid/CPR certification required
