The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen, managing high-heat cooking, and ensuring consistent quality in every dish. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using wok techniques, including stir-frying, deep-frying, and sauting.
  • Control cooking temperatures and timing to ensure food is cooked properly.
  • Manage the wok station, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
  • Follow restaurant recipes and plating standards to maintain food consistency.
  • Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Restock ingredients and prepare mise en place for high-volume cooking.
  • Handle food storage, portioning, and waste management efficiently.
  • Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Wok Cook, Line Cook, or in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of wok cooking techniques and Asian cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a high-heat, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent knife skills and ingredient preparation knowledge.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to [X] lbs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
