Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel promptly and efficiently, providing accurate information about room rates, amenities, and services.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist guests in making reservations, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy in reservation data.
  • Process guest payments accurately and securely, following the hotel's established procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest to assist guests with recommendations and directions.
  • Answer telephone calls and provide information to callers or route calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Use hotel management software to manage reservations, guest profiles, and other administrative tasks.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service-related education is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns tactfully.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
