We are seeking a talented Master Carpenter to join our team In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using your own hand and power tools. The work done by Odd Jobs Done Wright, LLC is primarily building decks, siding, room/house remodels, window and door replacements, and rot repair. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use blueprints, sketches, and/or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
- Provide inputs to company regarding estimates of effort for upcoming work
- Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
- Install fixtures and materials such as insulation, drywall, windows, doors, siding, flooring, trim, and hardware
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
- Lead a crew of 2 to 3 resources
- 8+ years of previous experience as a Carpenter
- Experience in Home Maintenance / Handyperson work is a plus
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to read and take action on design documents
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- General knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
