Client is seeking a Director of Case Management to lead and oversee our Case Management unit. This role is responsible for clinical resource management, discharge planning, patient advocacy, social work coordination, and medical necessity determination. The Director ensures effective care management strategies, focusing on resource utilization, quality outcomes, and adherence to Geometric Length of Stay (GLOS) guidelines.
About ClientLocated in the foothills of North Carolina, Client is a 355-bed acute care hospital with an 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and a network of 70+ primary and specialty care providers. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement departmental goals and strategies aligned with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.
- Oversee patient care delivery, complaint resolution, and service quality to meet performance objectives.
- Manage staffing activities, including hiring, training, evaluations, and continued education.
- Oversee and maintain department budgets, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
- Foster a culture of professional growth and evidence-based practice integration.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives, including length-of-stay (LOS) reduction and process optimization.
