What does a Delivery Driver Do?
- Work as a team to deliver online ordered packages.
- Follow all driving rules and safety practices.
- Conduct inspection of the vehicle before departing to deliver packages.
- Load packages onto cargo vans according to the company's specifications.
- Deliver packages to customers on assigned routes in Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, or similar.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Team Lead and dispatcher.
- Use a hand-held smartphone device to deliver packages.
Skills and requirements:
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- 100% RELIABLE; report to Work on Time.
- Exceptional Team Player; Customer Focused.
- Ability to pass company driving test, criminal history/background check, and drug test.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (seldom).
- Perform a minimum of 20 stops per hour; avg 3 min/stop.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
Work schedule:
- Start time: 09:15 am.
- Weekly Paycheck (including performance bonus pay)
- Home every day. Overtime after 40 hours (time and a half).
Full time: Four, 10 hour days ( must be willing to work at least one weekend day as a part of a normal shift).
Part-time/Seasonal: If you can contribute 2-to-3 days per week, we really want you to apply too.
