Location: Natomas – Sacramento, CA
Pay: $16/hour Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Upholstery Technician for a full-time position in Natomas. This role is ideal for individuals with experience or interest in upholstery work and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities:
  • Install upholstery and upholster foam cushions using leather, fabric, or vinyl covers.
  • Disassemble and reassemble components for upholstery installation or replacement.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Rotate tasks through different stages of the upholstery process.
  • Perform routine maintenance, report delays, and inspect raw materials for defects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Previous upholstery experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools; strong grip and static strength to stretch upholstery.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials such as train seats, fabric bolts, and other items. Must be able to stand throughout the shift.
  • Mindset: A safety-first attitude with attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Steel-toed or composite boots are required.
