About the Role: 3rd Shift Team Leader
As a 3rd Shift Team Leader, you'll oversee a production team of 15-20 people. Your mission: drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery through positive leadership, coaching, and continuous training. Youll be a hands-on problem solver, ensuring smooth operations and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Production Operations
    • Execute production plans and ensure daily standard work compliance
    • Manage schedules and staffing for optimal productivity
    • Uphold safety and housekeeping standards
  • Problem-Solving & Improvement
    • Research and resolve production challenges (downtime, scrap, etc.)
    • Collaborate to address customer quality concerns and improve key metrics
    • Identify and recommend opportunities for enhanced processes
  • Team Development
    • Promote and embody KAMs values: Work-Life Balance, Integrity, Partnership, and Service
    • Facilitate shift huddles to communicate priorities and updates
    • Foster a positive, productive team culture
    • Coach and motivate team members, conducting regular performance reviews

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years leading a production team
  • Experience with plastic injection molding preferred, but not required
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to participatory leadership and team development
