Job Description Summary:

The Junior Data Analyst will be the primary person who runs and creates reports using basic SQL skills. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn data preparation and visualization and who enjoys problem-solving and technology. Collaborating cross-functionally with teams, you will develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This position will also support the Client Services team

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Write basic SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
  • Create views and Common Table Expressions (CTEs) to streamline data processes.
  • Implement conditional logic in SQL to handle various data scenarios.
  • Assist in preparing data for analysis and reporting.
  • Learn and apply data visualization techniques using PowerBI.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, including writing queries, views, and CTEs.
  • Understanding of conditional logic in SQL.
  • Interest in data preparation and visualization.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
  • Passion for technology and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for technology.
  • No formal education required, but preferred; self-taught individuals and hobbyists are welcome.
