Requirements:

• Active Missouri license

• Demonstrate the technical knowledge and skill levels required to provide the service

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of the current principles, procedures, techniques, and instrumentation used in evaluating the speech, language, and hearing status of consumers.

• Knowledge of the relationships among speech, language and hearing problems, with particular concern for individuals having multiple disabilities.

• Ability to evaluate communication potential of consumers and apply appropriate therapy plans.

• Provide physical therapy to preserve, enhance, or restore movement and physical function utilizing therapeutic exercise, physical modalities, assistive devices

• Administer diagnostic tests, prepare reports and summaries on diagnosis, prognosis, progress, and recommendations for clients identified.

• Provide assessment and remediation of communication needs of clients which includes speech, voice, fluency,language, and evaluate need for augmentative communication devices that may be necessary based on referrals.
