About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in central New Jersey. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our properties. This includes ensuring that all properties are well-maintained, managing tenant relations, and ensuring that all financial and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time. The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our properties are profitable and that our tenants are satisfied with their living experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with property management software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • 2 years conventional Property Management experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our properties
  • Ensure that all properties are well-maintained and meet company standards
  • Manage tenant relations, including responding to tenant inquiries and complaints
  • Complete financial and administrative tasks accurately and on time
  • Assist with leasing and marketing efforts as needed

Skills:

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will use your strong organizational and time management skills to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and meet company standards. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage tenant relations and respond to tenant inquiries and complaints. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required to complete financial and administrative tasks accurately and on time. Preferred qualifications include experience with property management software, knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations, and experience with leasing and marketing efforts.
