Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Minnesota, La Crosse, Chippewa Falls, and North Dakota. This role will focus on promoting and selling funeral vaults, caskets, urns, urn vaults, and other related products to funeral homes and professionals within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, self-motivated, and have a passion for building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Account Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and networking within your assigned region. Maintain and grow existing accounts by nurturing relationships and identifying opportunities to introduce new products.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of Brown Wilbert's funeral product offerings, including vaults, caskets, urns, urn vaults, and more. Provide consultations to customers to recommend products that best meet their needs and the needs of the families they serve.
  • Customer Service: Offer exceptional service by ensuring product delivery timelines, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (customer service and logistics) to ensure timely product delivery and smooth customer experience.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Track and report on sales activities, meetings, quotes, and opportunities. Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales.
  • Analytical skills are a must, with the ability to analyze customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • CRM experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Sales experience in the funeral services industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales, with the ability to listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Company car provided).
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits
