Production Machine Operator (Richmond Hill)

Summary

The Production Machine Operator will be responsible for operating production equipment and tooling in a manufacturing setting. In this role, you will be expected to follow production schedules, ensure quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This posting is primarily for our PE Production Facility located in Richmond Hill, GA. The starting base rate of pay will be $ $1 per hour for 2nd shift. Upon being hired, Team members who demonstrate advanced skills may qualify for a higher pay level in the future.

About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE Systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles based on state-of-the-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

The responsibilities of a Production Machine Operator are to include but not limited to;

  • Operating various production equipment and tooling
  • Assembling products and parts in manufacturing processes
  • Performing validation testing
  • Meeting deadlines of individual production targets during shift 
  • Creating progress reports, defect reports, and incident reports as necessary
  • Maintaining lineside stock levels
  • Keeping the worksite clean
  • Reviewing and following manufacturing manuals/processes
  • Following the company's safety and quality guidelines

Preferred Experience

  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Experience with SAP/MES
  • Automated production line experience
  • Good understanding of how production equipment works
  • Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
