Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Following established Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices and procedures, including Confined space protocols, Lock Out Tag Out, and General Rigging Practices
  • Performing maintenance activities individually or as part of a team with co-workers.
  • Troubleshooting all equipment throughout the facility
  • Performing emergency and preventative mechanical and electrical repairs on all equipment (including cleaning, lubricating, adjusting parts, equipment and machinery)
  • Reading, interpreting, and understanding blueprints, drawings, and manuals
  • Welding and pipefitting as necessary
  • Working indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures depending on the season, and working at various heights
  • Communicating with the Production Staff and the Maintenance Supervisor or manager regarding the status of equipment
  • Supporting the Production lines and addressing any abnormal condition(s) of the machinery.
  • Working with operators to monitor all safety items on the machines and keeping them in optimal operating condition.
  • Maintaining Tool Inventory and verifying all tools and equipment are properly accounted for and stored correctly.
  • Performing other duties and functions as needed by the department and directed by the facility management.
