The Clinical Nurse I in the Medicine department is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing patient care during acute care stays, particularly focusing on their progress towards discharge. This role involves ensuring delivery of compassionate and competent care, collaborating with the caregiving team, and enhancing patient satisfaction through effective communication and teamwork. The nurse adheres to established protocols to create a safe environment while respecting the individual differences of patients and colleagues.

Night (United States of America)The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs ofassigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during
transitions within the acute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery and
coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate
patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the
inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
** Registered Professional Nurses that participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP)
must progress from novice to competent within a specialty. Nurses are eligible to apply for advancement to
proficient or expert status as outlined in the NPAP.
Salary Range: $34.65 - $35.69
