OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings, including acute care, emergency medicine, and primary care. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients across diverse populations.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinationsPerform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plansAdminister medications, injections, and IV infusions as neededManage acute pain and provide palliative care for patientsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams in critical care settings, including ICU and Level I/II trauma centersUtilize EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient managementParticipate in clinical research and data collection initiativesProvide triage services in emergency room and urgent care settingsEducate patients on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modificationsEnsure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical recordsExperienceCandidates should have experience or familiarity with the following:Hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care settingsCritical care experience including ventilator management and airway managementProficiency in CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical terminologyExperience administering botulinum toxin treatments or dermal fillers is a plusKnowledge of infectious disease care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and family planning practicesFamiliarity with clinical trials and research methodologiesStrong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient assessmentThis position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
