As an Associate Attorney at Orlans Law Group, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking legal work. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited:Document Review: Dive deep into legal documents, uncovering critical details that drive case strategies.Document Preparation: Craft compelling legal documents, from pleadings to motions to correspondences that set the stage for success.Court Hearings: Step into the courtroom and represent our clients with confidence and poise.Client Interaction: Building strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert guidance and support.Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our clients’ interests are protected.Case Management: Take charge of case files, ensuring meticulous organization and timely execution.Settlement and Negotiations: Master the art of negotiation, securing favorable settlements that exceed client expectations.Qualifications:Juris Doctrine (JD) from a law schoolAdmission to the Michigan state bar and in good standingOH admissions a bonusNo disciplinary action in the last 10 years.Strong analytical and research skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.A proactive and collaborative mindset.Impeccable attention to detail and organization prowess.Strong negotiation skills and a knack for achieving win-win outcomes.No experience necessaryTechnology Required:Position requires Strong Windows and MS Windows and Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) experience required; knowledge of Adobe/Nuance Power PDF; being comfortable with new technologies/websites and should be an advanced technology/computer user.Compensation & Benefits:Orlans offers a competitive market-based salary, work/life balance and based on hours worked benefits including medical/dental/vision/RX, Short and Long-term disability, paid-time off, 401(k) Plan with company match.Orlans Law Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer#ZR
