The Behavior Technician will collect data on programs, provide support with parent trainings, and assist the Behavior Analyst in the behavior assessments.Job DutiesProvide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.Follow the prescribed behavior skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as assigned.Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.Assist with parent/caregiver training in the line with client individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.Effective communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Maintain a clean,safeand organized work and therapy environment.Collaborate with treatment team including clients, parents, and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavior Technicians, ABA Interns, and co-workers.Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attend required trainings.Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws.Perform all other tasks as assigned.Worker SpecificationsAbility to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.Basic computer skillsand knowledge of Outlook systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.Commitment to ongoing training and development.TrainingResponsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and trainings including but not limited to:40 Hour RBT TrainingCPRCertificationDetroit Wayne County Trainings
