Job Title: Sandblaster

Company Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, remove rust, paint, and other surface materials from metal components.
  • Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Maintain and adjust sandblasting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Apply masking or protective coatings to areas of parts that should not be blasted.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proper disposal of blasting media.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on sandblasting equipment as needed.
  • Assist other team members with general shop tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field preferred
  • Ability to operate sandblasting equipment and basic hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a dusty environment while wearing proper PPE.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently
  • High school diploma or GED required
