We partner with general contractors, developers, and public agencies to provide experienced professionals who deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.We are currently seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineer for one of our municipal and infrastructure clients in Mount Holly, New Jersey. This individual will play a key role in the design, planning, and oversight of public infrastructure projects that improve community functionality and sustainability.Job OverviewThe Municipal Engineer will lead and support the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and other public works. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders—including contractors, engineers, and public agencies—to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement engineering plans for municipal infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, stormwater, and water systems)Perform detailed design calculations and prepare plans, specifications, and technical reportsOversee and inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with design standards, quality, and safety requirementsCollaborate with contractors, engineers, and municipal agencies to achieve project milestones and objectivesPrepare cost estimates, bid documents, and contracts for construction projectsReview shop drawings, change orders, and progress reportsMaintain accurate documentation for all assigned projectsProvide technical support and consultation to municipal staff, contractors, and community stakeholdersParticipate in project meetings, public hearings, and client presentationsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal design standards and environmental regulationsSkills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related fieldEIT or New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredMinimum of 4 years of experience in the design and construction of municipal infrastructure projectsStrong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and engineering design softwareExperience working with local and state government agenciesExcellent project management, communication, and coordination skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong understanding of design codes, regulations, and project documentation standardsEEO StatementWestbrook Project Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
