Creative Financial Staffing has teamed up with a Private Real Estate Investment Firm in Boston to identify an Accounting Manager to join their team.
About the company:
- Continuously growing Boston based real estate investment firm with over 75 years of dealing with investment and construction of high-quality office properties
- HQ is based out of Boston and has offices in major cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review monthly and quarterly third-party property management reports to ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Confirm proper accrual accounting for expenses and their escalation and pass-through to tenants.
- Provide ongoing support to the Asset Managers and Manager for assigned portfolios.
- Act as a resource to third-party accountants in relevant accounting policies, procedures and systems including: cash collections and disbursements, accounts receivable monitoring, annual budget preparation, intercompany accounting and cash forecasting.
- Participate in the due diligence process for acquisitions which includes reviewing and preparing the acquisition and sale closing statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required: Finance, business, or accounting preferred
- Must have 3+ years of real estate accounting experience
- Experience with fair value GAAP, tax accounting
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
