Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking licensed pediatric Occupational Therapists for the school year in Nassau and Suffolk counties. The position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for full-time or part-time work, as well as access to clinical support and professional development training. Candidates will provide developmentally-based interventions to enhance children's safety and independence in a school setting.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE ():

  • School District: Placements for school year
  • Preschool Coverage (Itinerant) throughout Nassau and Suffolk
  • Early Intervention (NYSDOH approval letter required) 

We offer:

  • Flexible scheduling

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide developmentally and educationally based intervention to improve safety and independence
  • Data input into secure, computerized systems for reports and billing 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: Up to 30 per week (or more)

Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Valid license to practice in appropriate State. Current NBCOT Certification. Current CPR Certification. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Effective leadership and customer relationship skills. Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems.
