This role requires experience in telemetry and progressive care, along with knowledge in administering cardiac IV medications. The position involves floating to various units, ensuring quality patient care, and upholding healthcare standards across multiple medical settings.

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • Stepdown or progressive care experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc.
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) preferred
  • Relief charge experience preferred

Other Details:

  • EMR - Cerner
  • Float to all MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding.
  • Patient Ratios –1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
  • Number of Beds - 40
  • Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner
  • Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation.
