Report directly to the CFO, gaining high visibility and leadership support.
Key Responsibilities as the Controller:
- Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Supervise the payroll process, maintaining accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Lead the accounts payable function, ensuring precise and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Direct the budgeting and forecasting process, offering insights for strategic planning.
- Manage cash flow, including monitoring balances and forecasting future needs.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the expert for ESOP-related accounting, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
What We're Looking For in the Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Recent ESOP experience is REQUIRED.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- ✍️ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
