Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to the manufacturing process.

  • Machine Installation: Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new manufacturing equipment to meet production requirements.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and preventive measures, using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to and promote all safety protocols and guidelines, actively participating in safety meetings to contribute to a safe working environment.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, providing valuable input to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of machinery.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
