**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hrs/week

**Experience:** Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Pediatric ICU experience required, along with solid experience in PICU, and some CV ICU or cardiac step down or general cardiac experience.

**License:** Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from the permanent address state.

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association ONLY
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association

**Must-Have:**
- Basic Arrhythmia experience and the ability to pass a Telemetry test prior to clearance to start.

**Job Description:**

- Join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team committed to providing family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in a state-of-the-art 21-bed unit.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with various medical and surgical problems, including acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO.
- Display flexibility as required by the operational needs of the department.
- Engage with specialized care environments designed especially for pediatric patients and their families.
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation schedule catered to support integration into the role.
- Comply with health and safety policies, including mandatory influenza vaccination requirements, with exemptions available on medical or religious grounds.
- Willingness to work every other weekend.
- Be prepared for potential floating assignments across multiple units to meet staffing needs.
