The LPN at Haven Behavioral Hospital operates on a night shift basis, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves maintaining a safe treatment environment and effective communication with the treatment team to ensure quality care for patients with mental health and substance abuse issues. Candidates should possess a graduate degree in an accredited LPN program and preferably have two years of LPN experience, including one year in acute psychiatric settings.

Position Summary

  • Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct patient care to patients as assigned.  
  • Maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures. 
  • Communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients.

Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program. 

Experience:  Two (2) years experience as a LPN with one (1) year acute psychiatric experience preferred.
