Travel Interventional Radiology in White Plains, NY

Summary:
- Specialized radiologic technologist assists physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient`s blood vessels and organs.
- Reports to the Supervisor of the Unit and or Chief Technologist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize use of radiation.
- Assist patient to procedure room.
- Advise on the provision of radiology equipment.
- May assist in the following, Angioplasty, Biopsies, image-guided thermal ablation and other procedures in the radiology department.
- Evaluate quality assurance performance.
- Monitor performance.
- Train staff and physicians in relevant aspects of radiation protections.
- Helps physicians with minimally invasive procedures that guide instruments through a patient`s blood vessels and organs.
- Observe patients during procedure and reports abnormal activity.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Two year degree in Interventional Radiology.
- One year of experience as Interventional Radiology Technician.
- Current AHA BLS.
