Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive support for students in grades K-12 within a contract position for the current school year. This role involves covering maternity leaves across multiple school locations, including Madison and Tecumseh areas near Ann Arbor, MI.Responsibilities include:Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse communication needsConducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with educators and families to support student progressDocumenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelinesAdapting therapy techniques to meet the needs of students across varying grade levels and developmental stagesParticipating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to positive educational outcomesQualifications and desired experience:Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology license or certification appropriate for school settingsExperience working with K-12 students in an educational environment preferredStrong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in school-aged childrenExcellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, parents, and administratorsFlexibility and adaptability to cover multiple locations and maternity leave assignments within the school yearThis contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing vital speech and language services to students during a critical period.
