*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy, with the ability to provide exceptional care to patients in various settings, including inpatient and home health environments. This role is crucial in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
* Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
* Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
* Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients returning home or to community care settings.
* Provide specialized care for pediatric patients as needed.
*Qualifications*
* Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
* Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
* Experience in inpatient settings preferred; familiarity with acute care is a plus.
* Understanding of discharge planning processes and home community care principles.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment decisions.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
* Previous experience in home health or pediatrics is advantageous but not required.
