**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Med Surg

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Med Surg, prior travel experience preferred

**License:** Active Texas RN License (Temporary License not accepted)

**Certifications:** BLS Required

**Must-Have:**
- Med Surg experience
- Inpatient surgical patient care experience preferred
- Experience with Meditech documentation system

**Job Description:**
- Work in a surgical unit specializing in urology, bariatrics, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, plastic surgery, and other surgical cases (excluding transplants).
- Provide exceptional patient care while adhering to the hospital's policies and procedures.
- Float between units as needed based on staffing requirements.
- Document care and treatment in the Meditech system accurately and efficiently.
- Follow dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket.
- Ensure personal grooming meets professional standards: clean and neat hair; beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be neatly trimmed; tattoos should be covered when possible; visible piercings are limited to ears only.
- Adhere to the facility's attendance policies and floating guidelines.
