Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEast Coast Gastroenterology and Endoscopy is actively seeking a motivated Physician Assistant, to join our practice. The schedule is flexible. We are a seeking a well-rounded team-player with a winning attitude that is organized, energetic, efficient, and able to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. We require you to be eager to learn, friendly, a self-starter with the motivation to give attention to detail on a daily basis. Gastroenterology experience required.Excellent schedule • No call responsibility Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited program for Physician Assistants • Current state license • Current DEA licenseQualified candidates interested in securing a long-term career within our thriving practice, please submit your CV.Responsibilities:Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnessesPrescribe all necessary medications and treatmentsPerform comprehensive physical examinations of patientsDevelop and implement patient management policies and proceduresFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesCommunicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient careQualifications:Previous experience in GastroenterologyAbility to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesECGE is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace
