Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) at Epic Travel Staffing summary:

The Travel Nurse (RN) in Telemetry/Stepdown care at Epic Travel Staffing is responsible for managing patients in a mixed acuity, cardiopulmonary intermediate care unit. This position requires a PA nursing license, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. The role involves working night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, providing specialized care to patients with acute medical conditions requiring intermediate care.

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Step-down / IMC - 4 Southwest
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36hrs per weekLength: 13 weeks
Weekends (EOW) and holiday as neededTraveler will be expected to work at least 1 major holiday.
Requirements:
  • PA License
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Electronic Documentation required
  • EPIC experience required
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS preferred
  • Previous Charge Experience preferred
Other Details:
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: DAYS- Nights 3x12 hr shifts at 18:45-7:15 w weekends (EOW) and holiday as needed
Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Wellspan guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.*Manager will interview
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 yearsCERTIFICATIONS: BLS & ACLS requiredEPIC exp required
RTO: MAX 7 daysWEEKENDS: EOWCALL REQUIREMENTS: n/aHOLIDAYS: Traveler will be expected to work at least 1 major holiday.

4 Southwest is?a 56-bed mixed acuity, cardiopulmonary intermediate care unit. 4SW specializes in the care of patients 18 years and older with a variety of acute medical diagnoses, some requiring mechanical ventilation, CPAP/Bipap, and high flow oxygen, and patients requiring intermediate level of care.
Could care for COVID patients.
