LOCATION: Work location is in San Francisco, but remote work is allowed.
HOURS: 8-5 PM EST – with flexibility
Position Overview
This role is newly available to provide temporary coverage for a full-time employee on medical leave.
We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst with expertise in data remediation, reporting, certification maintenance, portfolio audit and process development to join our team as a contractor. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of sustainability-related data across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, advanced analytical capabilities, and a solid understanding of certification processes and industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Remediation
o Identify and resolve inconsistencies, gaps, and errors in sustainability-related datasets.
o Develop processes and documentation to maintain ongoing data integrity.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align data sources and methodologies.
2. Reporting
o Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and company goals.
o Provide data insights to inform decision-making and sustainability strategy.
3. Certification Maintenance
o Manage documentation and data submissions for key certifications (e.g., Cruelty Free International).
o Track certification renewal timelines and requirements, ensuring timely updates and compliance.
o Liaise with certification bodies and third-party auditors as needed.
4. Portfolio Audit
o Conduct thorough audits of the sustainability claims and certifications across the product portfolio including regulatory compliance.
o Identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
5. Process Development
o Design and implement standardized processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sustainability-related operations.
o Document workflows, establish best practices, and create training materials for internal teams.
o Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to adapt to regulatory and organizational changes.
