Our industry niches include manufacturing/distribution, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, staffing and professional service firms.Assurance Senior Manager (Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation) is responsible for a wide range of assignments including, but not limited to:Responsible for all phases of an audit, review engagement, or other Assurance projectsMaintains contact with clients throughout the year, possessing a thorough knowledge of the client and all facets of clients businessPlans, schedules and staffs engagements while maintaining firm policies and proceduresMaintains familiarity of team qualifications and reviews team assignmentsReviews engagement letters and budgets for approval by PartnersEvaluates internal controls and work programs prepared by teamCognizant to engagement budgetsTraining and supervising staff and assisting in performance evaluationsPreparing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAPPrepare invoices to clients, communicates details of fees to clients, and assists in collection of overdue accountsAssisting directors and partners with consulting projects.RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:6-8 years experience in the business assurance/audit side of public accountingExperience/Expertise in the Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation industry.Accounting undergrad degree, MBA preferredExperience overseeing engagements, leading a team of professionals, and reviewing work papers and financial statementsWell-rounded knowledge of audit and accounting principlesCurrent CPA license requiredProficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite productsProficiency with CCH Pro fx Engagement and IDEA, software is a plusClient service orientedConsultative ApproachTeam playerSelf-Directed, Autonomous, MotivatedEntrepreneurial spirited and ambitiousExceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)What We Can Offer YouWe are dedicated to the well-being of our employees and are proud to be consistently recognized as one of Atlanta's Best Places to Work.
