In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of health services in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, the Minnesota Assisted Living Licensure regulations (Minn. Stat. 144G), Minnesota Statute 245D, and organizational policies.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Oversight & Resident CareConduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents to determine individualized service plans.Ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and applicable state laws.Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and outside care providers.Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and quality assurance measures.Supervision & LeadershipSupervise, mentor, and evaluate performance of staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and unlicensed personnel.Ensure compliance with medication administration requirements and documentation.Respond to on-call responsibilities and clinical emergencies as needed.Regulatory ComplianceMaintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with Minnesota Assisted Living Licensure requirements (Minn. Stat. 144G), DHS, MDH, and Board of Nursing regulations.Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections.Maintain proper documentation in accordance with state and organizational policies.Report incidents, accidents, and adverse outcomes per MN reporting requirements and company procedures.Team Collaboration & CommunicationCollaborate with facility leadership to coordinate interdisciplinary care.Serve as a liaison between nursing services and residents, families, and staff.Promote a positive, resident-centered care environment.Participate in care conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions.Candidate RequirementsRequired:Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of Minnesota.Minimum 2 years of nursing experienceExperience supervising nursing or direct care staff.Knowledge of Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and Assisted Living Licensure regulations (Minn. Stat. 144G).Valid drivers licenseFirst aid/CPR certification requiredExcellent interpersonal and client care skillsPreferred:Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN).Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and care documentation systems.Work Environment20 hours/bi-weekly for Assisted Living residents10 hours/bi-weekly for ICS residentsMust be able to work flexible hours/on-call including occasional weekends or holidays.Must be able to lift to 50 pounds occasionally.About Assured WellnessAssured Wellness (AW) is a DHS Licensed Provider providing ALF/ICS Services under Minnesota Department of Health and MN Statute 245D for individuals receiving assistance through Traditional Waivers.
