PART-TIME ACCOUNTING CLERK

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment, while maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Accounts Receivable: Assist in generating and sending invoices to clients, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile payments received with invoices to ensure accurate accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Journal Entries: Record relevant journal entries related to AP and AR activities in accordance with company policies.
- Reporting Support: Assist in preparing reports on accounts payable and receivable status to provide insights for management.
- Vendor and Client Communication: Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries, payment statuses, and account reconciliations.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk:
- Relevant Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable or relevant coursework.
- Detail-oriented: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule: Flexible between 20-30 hours per week, with scheduling options available to accommodate your needs.
Pay Range: 22-24/hr
