**License:** Current RN license or current Compact state license

**Certifications:**
- BLS Certification required within 2 weeks of hire date
- All other required certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire date

**Must-Have:**
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
- Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient

**Job Description:**

- Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units.
- Ensure that quality care is provided in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care.
- Demonstrate performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization.
- Exhibit quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice.
- Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
- Handle emergency or crisis situations effectively.
- Engage in prolonged, extensive standing and walking, with capability to exert heavy physical effort to position, push, and transfer patients or equipment.
- Perform tasks involving reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Maintain visual and auditory acuity within normal or correctable limits.
- Require manual dexterity and fine motor coordination for tasks.
- Work in a clean, well-lit, ventilated, and smoke-free environment, being mindful of exposure to infectious diseases and stress from professional relationships.
