**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
**License:** RN License
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS)
**Must-Have:**
- Epic Experience within the last year
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR, IV starts, and phlebotomy
- Ability to work 3 out of 4 holidays
- Willingness to float between units
**Job Description:**
- Provide high-quality patient care on a 14-bed Med/Surg oncology unit.
- Ensure patient documentation is accurate and up to date in EPIC EMR.
- Perform IV starts and phlebotomy as needed.
- Participate in patient rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
- Must be available to work various shifts, including a requirement for holiday coverage.
- Limited request time off (RTO) to a maximum of 7 days, with specific restrictions around Christmas Eve and Christmas.
- Participation in interviews is required; candidates should provide availability.
- Chemo certification is welcome but not mandatory.
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:7.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by floating to different units as required.
This position requires a dedicated and adaptable RN with a strong background in medical/surgical nursing, particularly in oncology care. The ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team is essential.
