**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Telemetry

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 3 x 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; holidays required as needed

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required

**License:** Professional Registered Nurse license

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
- Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam

**Must-Have:** Telemetry experience; ability to float within similar telemetry units; ability to provide patient-centric care

**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and coordinate an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments
- Initiate assessment based on patient problems or needs, physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage care of patients and document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model
- Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Preferred Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

**Languages:** Proficient in English (Speak, Read, Write)
