**Must-Have:** Experience in assisting during surgical procedures, knowledge of aseptic practices, ability to maintain a sterile field, and CPR certification

**Job Description:**
- Responsible for the care and safety of patients during surgical procedures.
- Provide technical assistance in the Operating Room under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- Prepare the room with nursing staff for surgical procedures in a timely and organized manner.
- Correctly practice the principles of asepsis.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all equipment in the OR and Endoscopic Lab.
- Coordinate patient care with the RN Circulator.
- Stock and replace items, and prepare inventory sheets.
- Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures and have the correct instrumentation organized and available.
- Follow verbal physician orders in the operating suite.
- Handle surgical specimens.
- Compile necessary equipment on the surgical field.
- Timely document unusual occurrence reports and other departmental forms as required.
- Perform CPR as needed.
- Correctly and proficiently use all applicable instruments and equipment.
- Clean and wrap instruments for sterilization.
- Transport patients to and from the OR.
- Monitor surgical equipment for maintenance and repairs.
- Complete duties as technical scrub in OR.
- Prepare room and equipment for Endoscopy procedures.
- Maintain a cooperative disposition in the OR room.
- Cover holiday shifts as required.
- Perform other duties as needed.
