About the Role:

Sunbeltis looking for a certifiedSign Language Interpreter to assist students in a wonderful Washingtonschool district. Thisrole provides the opportunity to make a significant difference in an inclusive educational setting with great benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation: Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for high-schoolclassrooms.
  • Student Support: Enhance communication for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, aiding their learning experience.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers, staff, and parents to meet students' needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sessions and communicate with educational professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification.
  • Experience: Previous educational experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • EIPA score of 3.5(required) and passed the written exam
